Christmas Classics…

Welcome back! Sorry for not posting yesterday, I usually manage to make Fridays but I was feeling a little under the weather. That doesn’t matter though, I’m determined not to be ill for Christmas so I’m insisting on carrying on as normal!

Anyway, in between present wrapping, gift giving and eating far too much shortbread, I have been listening to loads of Christmas songs! After all, there’s nothing better to get you in the spirit than blasting Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and serenading your friends with All I Want For Christmas Is You! So without further ado, here are a few Christmas Classics you have to listen to!

White Christmas

‘I’m dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones I used to know!’ I can dream allΒ I want but I live in England so I’d be lucky if it doesn’t rain!

Let It Snow

Man, this doesn’t show signs of stopping! Every Christmas party that I’ve been to, this song has been played! Not that I’m complaining though!

Winter Wonderland

What a classic! The lights hung in the windows certainly jazz up the streets, unfortunately it’s not quite a wonderland without the snow!

Driving Home For Christmas

Another one that we hear every year! It is a very catchy song though, we had it on earlier and my brother was walking around the house shouting the lyrics!

Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday

How could I forget this one!? This was the foundation of every primary school Christmas disco growing up! Primary school is basically where you go between 4 and 11 and I still have very fond memories of dancing to this for years!

Jingle Bell Rock

We have a Santa and snowman parachute that play this song going across the hall! They start singing when any noise is made so it is just constant! It is a timeless song though!

Thank you for reading! This will probably be my last post for at least a week due to Christmas! I hope you all have an amazing Christmas, eat some delicious food and get to spend precious time with family and friends! Have a great Christmas, I’ll see you next time!

  1. Although I don’t celebrate Christmas, I grew up listening to these songs at schools and it brings so much nostalgia. Especially walking in a winter wonderland and rocking around the Christmas tree!
